Transform your Organization through care.

Through our Four Steps to Creating a Culture of Supportive Care, we assess, inform, and equip your team with the tools and strategies to help them in their relationships both in and out of the workplace, cultivating a more cohesive and productive environment.

Our programming is flexible and tailored to your needs — we build what works for you.

Start Here: Discovery Workshop

Start here. We’ll take a baseline temperature read of your team to uncover the potential for more connection. We do this using our proprietary survey and validated care and connection metrics.

From there, we’ll develop a targeted action plan that illuminates the pathway to a self-sustaining culture of care and deeper resilience.

The 60-minute or 90-minute workshop includes the following:

  • Prior to the workshop/webinar, participants will be given link to an anonymous pre-workshop survey to get a temperature read on the climate of care and connectedness in their personal and professional lives.

  • Current business insights and trends make it clear: the workplaces of tomorrow will have leaders who recognize the “whole person” and not just the worker. Bain and Co. refers to this as the “Great Re-Skilling and Re-Humanizing” of the workforce.

This presentation will unveil how the workplace paradigm has radically shifted and how the role of the leader must transform with it. We will cover the science behind the importance of supportive care and connection while weaving in the data from your organization’s pre-workshop survey. Lastly, participants will become familiar with the many barriers that prevent us from “Showing Up”, and why developing skills to overcome our barriers are so important to building connections, trust, and resilience. Participants will come away with knowledge of the processes and tools that lead to increased employee and client well-being, better collaboration, and increased productivity.

  • Participants will be put into discussion groups of 6-8 people and will discuss trends and situations in the workplace where employees may not feel seen, acknowledged, and validated. Conversation will focus on scenarios that are resulting in a lack of connection.

  • From there, we’ll use the insights gathered from both the survey, workshop, and over-arching goals of the team/organization to generate observations, insights, and a targeted action plan for your team, group, and/or organization as a whole.

How We Train

After we get a temperature read of your group or organization, we offer these three levels of training. We can also create custom workshops, training, and consulting offerings for your group depending on your needs.

Fundamentals Training

Our Fundamental Training equips participants to break through their Awkward Zone. We do that by helping them understand what barrier behaviors prevent them from knowing what to say and do to support others.

Participants walk away from this training growing awareness and having specific tools and strategies to act on their emotions of empathy and compassion and show care to those around them.

Average session length: 2 hours

Inspiring Comfort’s Fundamentals training includes the following:

  • We will survey the climate of care and connectedness of your organization through an anonymous pre-session survey. Additionally, we’ll assess each participant by having them take their own individual personal comfort assessments.

All data is supplied to you as an aggregate so you can evaluate the collective human care behaviors of your organization.

  • We deliver a keynote address to increase the awareness of the critical need for this skill and lay the groundwork for training for your organization.

Your team will be inspired to learn new tools and strategies to help them in their relationships both in and out of the workplace. They learn that social connectedness – i.e. caring relationships - is key to our emotional resilience and one of the best forms of self-care.

  • The #1 reason why people don’t reach out to someone they know to be struggling is the simple fact of not knowing what to do or say. Members of your team will gain insight into their personal barriers to comforting others and will become equipped with tools and strategies to break through the “Awkward Zone.”

    Workshop includes:

    • Completion of Personal Comfort Assessment Profile

    • Recognition of individual’s strengths and weaknesses with showing care

    • Small group discussion reviewing tips and tools to break through the Awkward Zone

    • Identification of individual strategies to put the skill into their daily lifestyle

Core Training

Adding on the Core training module is critical for developing leaders who know how to support and care for those around them.

One of the most critical qualities of leaders in today’s world is knowing how to show up and care. This can be difficult for many, which can put a barrier to group relationships and productivity. Today’s leaders are on the front lines of cultivating a culture of care in all areas of their lives.

Includes Fundamentals and the following:

  • The ultimate team bonding workshop. In this workshop, participants deepen bonds with each other by uncovering that everyone you know needs emotional support and deeper human connection. Participants leave feeling that they were seen, heard and understood.

    Workshop Includes:

    • Self-Reflection Questionnaire

    • One-on-one conversations that require deep listening and perspective taking

    • Creation of personalized expression of care for each participant

  • After learning how to break through the Awkward Zone and connecting with their teammates, participants take a deeper dive into Showing Up and learn how to incorporate this skill into their personal leadership styles.

Through this in-depth, scenario-based workshop, participants will identify deeper behavioral changes to put into action to support those in their care and learn how to react to different situations as required by a leader. They will walk away knowing what to do and where to look in the event that those around them require many forms of care.

They will be trained to use the book Showing Up as a reference guide as needed.

Keynotes & Custom Programming

Keynote Menu

Book a keynote with us for your event or organization.

  • How can we tackle our new hybrid work environment and combat burnout, stress, and loneliness with more social connectedness through a collective approach? This talk will tackle what is needed to assure that leaders are equipped with tools for higher engagement with employees, resulting in better team cohesion.

  • The main reason we fail to show care is we don’t feel equipped in knowing what to say and do around those who are struggling, and so awkwardness takes over. This talk walks through specific mindsets and behaviors that can be identified, normalized, and discussed to help cultivate a culture of care.

  • The Great Resignation and the pandemic have shown us how people need to be seen, heard, valued, and cared for. This talk focuses on how workplaces of tomorrow will have leaders who recognize the “whole person” and not just the worker. Bain and Co. refers to this as the “Great Re-Skilling and Re-Humanizing” of the workforce.

  • A care response is needed before, during, and after any crisis, loss, or tragedy hits. In today’s world, that is every day. What exactly does a care response look and what does that do to the culture of an organization? This talk focuses on each of these areas.

  • Human suffering is one of the most basic of our human conditions, and yet there has been little to no training available to know how to help others through it — until now. This talk walks you through the methodology of how you can train human care and how the results of that will lead to deeper relationships, which will ultimately lead to increased employee well-being, higher employee retention, better collaboration, and increased productivity.

  • Why focusing on emotions (nouns) is not enough to create a culture of care. This talk will take a deeper dive in understanding all the emotions of human care including the opposing emotions that stop us from showing up. It then lays out how specific tools, actions, mindsets, and behaviors can be used to reach those who are struggling.
